The Wiesbaden Church of Christ is a family of believers dedicated to learning and doing the will of God as He makes it known in the Bible.  We recognize that we are all sinners in need of the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ.  We are simply on a journey, striving to walk in the light, to become more like Jesus and we welcome you to join in that journey with us.

Organization

As prescribed in the New Testament, we are an autonomous congregation led by elders and deacons, who have been appointed by the members of this church family.  We submit to their leadership as they submit themselves to Christ.

Membership

The New Testament promises admission to the Lord's church (which includes forgiveness of sins) to all people of every race, nationality and economic status who believe in Jesus as the Christ (confessing Him), who turn away from their past sins (repent) and who are baptized into His name for the forgiveness of their sins.  We preach this Gospel.

We gladly welcome all who have obeyed the gospel and who wish to be recognized as members of this church family.  We are also willing to study the Bible with any who may be interested in learning more about Jesus and the way of salvation made accessible through Him.

Worship

We seek to follow the teachings of the Bible regarding our worship.  The Bible teaches that we are expected to be faithful in assembling ourselves together to worship God and to stimulate and encourage each other through singing, praying, Bible teaching, giving, and weekly observance of the Lord's Supper. 

We strive to be faithful to this standard.

Conduct

We adhere to the New Testament teaching that Jesus Christ is the only standard of right and wrong and that He should be imitated in all things (1 Corinthians 11:1).
We urge this holy living.

Our Heritage

The congretation started many years ago with help from a congregation in Oklahoma, who wanted to help us establish an English speaking congregation for Americans living in this area. We are made up primarily of the military but we also have members coming from Ghana, Sweden etc. We also welcome you wherever you are from.
